McGregor 2017 Saperavi Grand Reserve

Deep, consistent dark cherry red in color. Tobacco, leather, and earthiness hit the nose followed by the taste of plum, blackberry, tart currants, and cedar. Starts out on the acidic side but quickly finds a balance with the tannins and mild oak. Very pleasant backend with a smooth finish.
